Dell Outlet is currently offering a significant discount on a refurbished Alienware 18 Area-51 gaming laptop equipped with an RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Priced at $2,013.44 after an additional 12% instant discount applied at checkout, this "like new" model represents a substantial saving compared to its original $3,130 price tag for a new configuration. The laptop comes with the same one-year warranty as a new purchase. This offer is for a limited time, as Dell Outlet inventory is typically very low and deals often expire within 24 hours.
The Area-51 18 is Alienware's premium gaming laptop offering. This specific configuration features an 18-inch display with a 2560x1600 resolution and a 300Hz refresh rate with G-Sync support. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU and an RTX 5070 Ti 12GB mobile GPU. Complementing the core components are 32GB of DDR5-6400MHz memory and a 2TB SSD, both of which are noted as being user-upgradeable.
Visually, the Area-51 18 sports a sleeker design than previous Alienware models, incorporating rounded edges and a more contoured shape. The chassis and lid are constructed from anodized aluminum with an iridescent finish, while the internal frame uses a magnesium alloy. The cooling system has been enhanced with increased copper content and a new thermal interface, which Dell states can manage up to a 240W TDP without excessive noise.
The mobile RTX 5070 Ti graphics card delivers performance improvements of 20-30% over the RTX 5070 and is comparable to the previous generation's RTX 4080, especially in games that utilize DLSS 4.5 and multi-frame generation. This GPU is capable of running demanding titles at the laptop's native 2560x1600 resolution.
