Amazon Prime Day has brought a notable price drop for Samsung's 55-inch S90F 4K QD-OLED Smart TV, bringing it below the $1,000 mark. The television is now available for $998 with free shipping, a price point that rarely dips this low.
This particular model is part of Samsung's 2025 S90 OLED TV lineup and is positioned similarly to LG's Evo C5. A key feature is its quantum dot OLED panel, a technology typically reserved for Samsung's more premium televisions. QD-OLED displays offer enhanced brightness compared to traditional WOLED panels, while maintaining the inherent advantages of OLED technology, such as near-instantaneous response times, true black levels, and an exceptional contrast ratio.
The S90F is also equipped for modern gaming, boasting a native 120Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 ports. These specifications allow for gaming in 4K resolution at up to 120 frames per second on current-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Even for less demanding hardware, such as the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, the S90F's display quality will be a significant upgrade. While the Switch 2 is expected to output at a maximum of 4K resolution at 60fps when docked, the visual fidelity provided by the OLED panel will enhance the gaming experience.
In addition to the 55-inch model, other sizes of the Samsung S90F QD-OLED TV are also on sale. The 48-inch version is priced at $798, the 65-inch at $1,198, and the 77-inch model is available for $1,798.
