Amazon Resale is currently offering a substantial discount on Sony's officially licensed PlayStation gaming audio gear. For a limited time, customers can save up to 45% on used "like new" units of the Pulse Explore gaming earbuds and the Pulse Elite gaming headset. This deal is further enhanced by an additional 30% off applied at checkout.
These audio devices are notable for their adoption of planar magnetic technology, a feature integrated following Sony's 2023 acquisition of Audeze. This technology is designed to reproduce sound with exceptional accuracy across the entire audible spectrum, allowing players to experience games as developers intended.
PlayStation Pulse Elite Headset
The Pulse Elite headset, reviewed in 2024 by IGN with a 9/10 rating, leverages its planar magnetic drivers for high-fidelity sound. Key features include PlayStation Link technology for seamless PS5 connectivity, multi-point connectivity for simultaneous use with Bluetooth devices, a retractable microphone with AI-enhanced noise rejection, integrated on-button controls, and an impressive 30-hour battery life.
PlayStation Pulse Explore Earbuds
The Pulse Explore earbuds, also highly rated by IGN, are specifically engineered for gaming. While they omit features common in non-gaming earbuds, such as Active Noise Cancellation and transparency mode, their design prioritizes audio performance. The inclusion of planar magnetic drivers necessitates a larger size compared to conventional earbuds, a trade-off for enhanced sound. These earbuds support 3D audio for improved spatial awareness and feature PlayStation Link compatibility. A USB dongle is provided for PC connectivity.
Amazon Resale operates as Amazon's official outlet for pre-owned items. The "like new" condition designation means that these products are stated to look and function as if new, and they arrive in their original packaging. Purchasers are also protected by Amazon's standard 30-day return policy, offering a secure alternative to acquiring used gaming peripherals.
