Amazon has reduced the price of the Skytech Ryzen Edition RTX 5070 Prebuilt Gaming PC to $1,499.99, including free shipping. This configuration offers a capable setup for 1080p and 1440p gaming, with the potential for 4K performance.
The PC features an air-cooled AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU, a 12GB GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-6000MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Ryzen 5 7600 processor has six cores and twelve threads with a boost clock speed of up to 5.1GHz. Powering the system is a 750W 80Plus Gold certified power supply.
The GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card is recommended for 1080p and 1440p resolutions. It is also capable of running most games at 4K, though higher-tier cards like the RTX 5070 Ti offer more significant gains at that resolution. Performance-wise, the RTX 5070 provides a modest improvement over the previous generation's RTX 4070 Super, particularly in games utilizing DLSS 4.5 with multi-frame generation. As a standalone component, the RTX 5070 is currently available for around $800 on Amazon.
