Steam Autumn Sale 2026 Features Deep Discounts on New and Classic PC Titles

The Steam Autumn Sale for 2026 is now live, offering a week of discounts across the PC storefront. The sale concludes on October 8 at 10 AM PT, presenting a shorter window for shoppers compared to Steam's longer Summer and Winter sales. Valve shifted the Autumn Sale to early October starting in 2025, a departure from its previous late November schedule, aligning it with the nominations for the annual Steam Awards.

The sale includes substantial price reductions on some of 2026's major releases. Resident Evil Requiem, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and 007 First Light are all available with a 30% discount. Resident Evil Requiem, which launched in February, is priced at $48.99, while 007 First Light, an IO Interactive title, also sees a price reduction. The new Lego Batman game is noted as a significant improvement for the series, available for $49 on Steam, with an additional saving to be had at Fanatical.

Strategy and role-playing game enthusiasts can find 50% discounts on titles such as Endless Legend 2, Amplitude's 4X sequel that recently left early access, and Xenonauts 2, an X-COM-inspired tactics game that also reached its 1.0 release this year. Solasta 2, a turn-based RPG, is also half price, though it remains in early access.

For those looking for multiplayer experiences, Big Walk, a cooperative puzzle game supporting up to 12 players, is 20% off and was released less than two months ago. Bungie's multiplayer shooter Marathon is 40% off, and Stick it to the Stickman, a September release, is 50% off.

Beyond new releases, the sale features notable discounts on older, popular titles. Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is available for $56, with further savings possible through third-party retailers. Far Cry 6 is heavily discounted at 90% off, bringing its price down to $6. Watch Dogs 2 is also available for $2.49, offering a blend of story, hacking mechanics, and an open-world setting in California.

Additionally, the job simulator Retro Rewind, which allows players to manage a 1990s video rental store, is on sale for $14, down from its usual $20 price. An upcoming update for the game will introduce video game rentals.
