The Blood of Dawnwalker, one of 2026's most notable RPGs, is currently available at a reduced price during Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale. The game is priced at $59.49 for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox, marking its first significant discount since its release.
This offer represents a saving of over $10 off the game's standard $69.99 list price. The Prime Big Deal Days event runs from October 6-7, meaning interested buyers will need to act quickly to secure the deal.
Developed by Rebel Wolves, The Blood of Dawnwalker is a narrative-driven RPG set in a dark medieval world plagued by vampires. Players assume the role of Coen, a young man turned vampire who must race against time to save his family. A central mechanic of the game involves a time limit, influencing player decisions and requiring prioritization of tasks. Coen's human and vampiric abilities offer different approaches to navigating the world, with the ticking clock forcing players to make difficult choices about how to spend their limited time.
IGN's review praised the game's unique day/night cycle, which forces players to balance human and vampiric forms, and the stress induced by the time constraints. The combat was noted as having a learning curve but ultimately rewarding, complemented by a story with memorable characters and impactful decisions. The review highlighted that even players not typically drawn to vampire themes might find The Blood of Dawnwalker compelling due to its strong RPG elements.
While not a drastic price reduction, the current sale provides the first substantial price drop for The Blood of Dawnwalker. For those who have been anticipating a lower price before diving into the acclaimed title, this Prime Big Deal Days offer presents a timely opportunity.
Other deals are also available during the Prime Big Deal Days sale, including discounts on other PS5 titles. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is priced at $16.99, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available for $19.99.
