Amazon is currently offering a buy one, get one 50% off deal on select books, which includes The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia. This hardcover volume, originally published in 2018, is also available at 45% off its list price, making it an opportune time for fans to purchase a copy for themselves or as a gift.
The encyclopedia details the first three decades of The Legend of Zelda franchise, from its earliest titles up to Twilight Princess. However, it does not contain information on later games such as Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom. At present, no updated version of the encyclopedia has been announced, though a new art book, Secrets of the Zonai, is slated for release in March 2027.
This encyclopedia is part of a series of three collector's books, which also includes Hyrule Historia and Art & Artifacts. While those titles are not included in the current Amazon promotion, the encyclopedia's inclusion in the buy one, get one 50% off sale offers a chance to acquire it at a reduced price.
To take full advantage of the promotion, customers must purchase two eligible books. Other Legend of Zelda titles available in the sale include Akira Himeka's Ocarina of Time manga and the Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom guides. Pairing the encyclopedia with either of the latter two guides would result in a greater discount compared to purchasing it with the manga, due to their closer price points.
