Epic Games Store is offering the Trine Classic Collection as today's freebie in its holiday promotion. The four-game bundle includes Trine 1 through Trine 4 and is available at no cost for today only. The promotion continues a daily giveaway streak that started December 18, designed to lure new players into Epic's storefront.
Beyond the free price, all four titles have been updated to support cross-platform co-op between Steam and Epic Games Store players. When you boot Trine 1–4 on Steam, you'll be prompted to optionally link your Steam and Epic accounts. This enables cross-platform friend invites and progress tracking for achievements. The Trine series has long centered on three-player co-op, and the changes aim to reduce the friction for players who acquired the games through this promotion.
Availability context: This cross-play upgrade accompanies the ongoing holiday freebies and reflects Epic's push to improve interoperability with Steam. PC Gamer's coverage notes the deal as part of a steady stream of daily free games, a popular feature for players scanning the storefront during the season.
How to redeem: To claim, visit the Epic Games Store today, search for the Trine Classic Collection, and redeem it to your library before the window closes. If you plan to play with friends on Steam, link accounts when launching Trine on Steam to enable cross-platform invites and progress syncing; linking is optional but recommended for full cross-play benefits. Once claimed, the titles will remain in your library even after the promotion ends.
