VITURE is offering substantial discounts on its popular XR glasses models as part of Amazon Prime Day, with savings reaching up to 33% off. The sale includes the flagship VITURE Beast glasses, engineered for gaming and cinematic experiences, and the VITURE Luma series, designed for productivity tasks. As an added incentive, all purchases of VITURE XR glasses during the sale period come with a complimentary VITURE × 8BitDo Ultimate 2C wireless PC gaming controller, provided it is added to the same order.

The VITURE XR glasses aim to provide a portable, large-screen virtual display, suitable for enhancing mobile gaming sessions or for use away from a traditional screen. Both the Beast and Luma models utilize Sony's Micro OLED panels with a resolution of 1920x1200 per eye, simulating a high-resolution viewing experience.

VITURE Beast: Gaming and Entertainment Focus

The VITURE Beast glasses are highlighted for their suitability for gaming and movie watching. They feature per-eye resolutions that contribute to a simulated large virtual screen, with a maximum projection size of up to 175 inches. The glasses incorporate 3DoF (Degrees of Freedom) tracking, allowing users to adjust screen size with finger gestures. They boast a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth motion and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Additional features include 9-level dimming, a transparency mode, integrated Harman AudioEFX open-ear speakers, 2D to 3D conversion capabilities, and 70mm IPD adjustment. The frame is constructed from an aluminum-magnesium alloy and weighs 88 grams.

IGN previously reviewed the VITURE Beast XR glasses, noting their potential as a portable large display solution for gaming, though with qualifications regarding control complexity and text clarity for extended use as a primary display.

VITURE Luma: Productivity and Clarity

The VITURE Luma series is available in three variants: Standard, Pro, and Ultra, each targeting different levels of productivity needs. The Luma Ultra model offers full 6DoF tracking and hand tracking, alongside a higher brightness of 1,500 nits. The Luma Pro variant provides 3DoF tracking for users who do not require the full capabilities of the Ultra model. The Luma XR, the most basic configuration, omits tracking features for those who primarily use external input devices like mice, keyboards, or gamepads.

All Luma models share the same Sony Micro-OLED panels and can project a virtual screen up to 152 inches. The Luma glasses are designed for sharper visual output compared to the Beast, attributed to their use of Birdbath lenses which enhance edge-to-edge clarity and offer a more forgiving 'sweet spot'. The higher pixel density due to a smaller field of view also contributes to sharper text rendering, making them more suitable for productivity work where image precision is paramount.
