Amazon is offering Worms: The Board Game at its lowest price to date, retailing for $25.97, a significant reduction from its usual $40 MSRP. This tabletop adaptation brings the famously destructive multiplayer action of the Worms video game series to a physical format.
Worms: The Board Game, released by Mantic Games in 2024, is designed to be accessible to new players. It supports up to four players, with each participant controlling a team of four worms. Matches typically last around 45 minutes, culminating in a battle where players aim to eliminate their opponents' worm teams. The last player with worms remaining wins.
IGN previously reviewed the board game in 2024, noting that it "has a competent design that occasionally produces brilliant moments of carnage, but ultimately offers an experience that is somewhat thin and faint." Despite its limitations, the review concluded that the game remains a fun option for those seeking a lighthearted tabletop experience. The current sale price makes it a more attractive proposition for players looking to try the game without a significant investment.
This deal aligns with IGN Finds' regular coverage of discounts on board games and other tabletop products. Readers interested in further tabletop deals can follow IGN Finds on social media and subscribe to the IGN Deals Newsletter.
