Dell is currently offering a significant discount on the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, making it available for $149.99, a $50 reduction from its standard $200 price. This deal, coinciding with Prime Day, includes the full component pack.
The Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is recognized as a premium peripheral for both Xbox and PC gaming. It features enhancements such as adjustable-tension thumbsticks, a rubberized grip, and shorter hair trigger locks, contributing to a more substantial build quality compared to standard controllers. The "Core" version of the controller omits these accessories, which are crucial for customizing the controller's feel and functionality.
The included component pack for the Series 2 adds significant value, providing users with interchangeable paddles, additional thumbsticks, a different D-pad option, and a carrying case. These accessories are key to tailoring the controller to individual playstyles and justify the premium cost for enthusiasts. Without them, the value proposition of the Elite Series 2 diminishes, bringing its price closer to that of the standard Xbox controller.
