Disney and Hulu have unveiled their streaming schedules for October 2026, featuring a mix of new series, movie additions, and seasonal specials. This follows a recent price increase for both services.
Key October Releases
A major highlight is the premiere of VisionQuest on Disney+, a new series that continues the story from the acclaimed WandaVision. While details remain scarce, the series is expected to bring back familiar Marvel characters, though the return of the Scarlet Witch is unconfirmed.
Fans of horror will welcome the arrival of American Horror Story: 13 on Hulu. The first three episodes, which premiered on FX in late September, will be available on Hulu at the start of October, promising the usual blend of returning cast members and intricate plotlines.
The complete Hunger Games film franchise is also coming to Hulu, offering a chance for viewers to revisit the dystopian saga ahead of the upcoming prequel, Sunrise on the Reaping.
Horror enthusiasts can also look forward to Zach Cregger's acclaimed directorial debut, Barbarian, which will be available on Hulu. The film, described as "one of the wildest horror films in years," joins a growing list of Cregger's work on streaming platforms.
Halloween Specials and More
October's lineup includes several Halloween-themed episodes and specials.
