Heated Rivalry Actor Connor Storrie in Talks for Ghost Rider Villain Role

Connor Storrie, known for his role in the recent series "Heated Rivalry," is reportedly in discussions to play a villain in Marvel Studios' upcoming "Ghost Rider" movie, which stars Ryan Gosling. The Hollywood Reporter indicates that Storrie would face off against Gosling's Johnny Blaze, confirming early speculation that Gosling would indeed portray the iconic character.

While the specific villain Storrie might play remains unconfirmed, this potential role marks a significant step for the actor. He previously had a notable, albeit brief, appearance in "Joker: Folie à Deux" as an inmate who attacks Arthur Fleck. This new opportunity could see him play a more central antagonist in a major franchise.

The "Ghost Rider" film was officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con, with production slated to begin next year. The movie is targeting a July 2028 release date. Shawn Levy, who recently worked with Marvel on "Deadpool & Wolverine," is set to direct. Linus Sandgren, known for his work on "Dune: Part Two," has been chosen as the director of photography, and the film will be shot on traditional film stock, a choice becoming increasingly popular among filmmakers.

"Ghost Rider" is expected to be one of the initial films released after the major crossover event "Avengers: Secret Wars," potentially signaling a new direction for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Further details about the film's plot and Storrie's character are expected to be revealed as production progresses.
