Amazon Prime Video is bolstering its library in October with the addition of several major movie franchises, including James Bond, John Wick, and Indiana Jones, all arriving on the first of the month. The streaming service will also debut a new miniseries based on Stephen King's Carrie.
Notable October Additions
The James Bond franchise will become fully available on Prime Video, featuring films from every actor who has played the iconic spy. Amazon acquired the franchise in 2025 and is reportedly seeking to cast the next James Bond.
The action-packed John Wick series, including John Wick: Chapter 4 which received a perfect 10/10 review, will also be available in its entirety. This includes all four films starring Keanu Reeves.
Four of the five Indiana Jones films are set to stream, with the exception being the most recent installment, Dial of Destiny. IGN's review of Dial of Destiny noted its directionless and haphazard nature, awarding it a 4 out of 10.
Additionally, a new eight-episode miniseries based on Stephen King's Carrie, led by horror producer Mike Flanagan, will premiere on October 7. Flanagan is known for his work on The Haunting of Hill House and Doctor Sleep.
The Scream franchise continues its expansion with Scream 7 arriving on October 16. While IGN's review of Scream 7 was less positive than previous entries, it was still deemed worth watching for fans.
