Prime Video has announced a new one-off special for the Clarkson's Farm series, titled "Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special." The episode will see Jeremy Clarkson return to his automotive roots, as he attempts to construct a vehicle entirely from materials produced on his Diddly Squat farm.
According to Prime, this endeavor is a world first. Clarkson will use a Jaguar F-Type V6S as his base, outfitting it with Diddly Squat leather for the interior and wool for carpets. He will also cultivate a flax crop to create a sustainable flax-composite material, presented as an alternative to carbon fiber that major car manufacturers are reportedly considering.
Joining Clarkson for this automotive challenge is renowned car designer Ian Callum CBE. Callum's past design credits include the original Jaguar F-Type, the Jaguar XK, the C-X75, the Aston Martin Vanquish, DB7, and DB9, as well as contributions to the Ford RS200 and the Nissan R390.
"Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special" is scheduled to air on Prime in 2027.
