Mondo is celebrating the enduring popularity of Cartoon Network's Over the Garden Wall with a new collection of high-end merchandise. The latest releases include a figure set and a poster, both drawing inspiration from the "Schooltown Follies" episode.
The figure set, priced at $150, features Miss Langtree and her animal children, along with the character Gorilla, also known as Jimmy Brown. Both Miss Langtree and Gorilla come with interchangeable heads and accessories. Additionally, the set includes new arm pieces for the previously released Greg figure, allowing for expanded display options.
The second new item is a poster illustrated by Matt Emmons, which depicts the memorable animal concert from "Schooltown Follies" surrounded by potatoes and molasses. Emmons shared that the episode had a significant impact on him during his time as an animation student, and it has since become a yearly tradition for him and his wife. He aimed to include as many details from the episode as possible in the artwork.
Both the figure set and the poster are timed releases and available for purchase on the Mondo website. This launch follows Over the Garden Wall's Blu-ray release earlier this year, which offered fans a more permanent way to own the critically acclaimed 2014 animated miniseries.
