Fans of Robert Eggers' upcoming film Werwulf can now immerse themselves in the movie's atmosphere with an official perfume set. Focus Features has partnered with Heretic Parfum to create a limited-edition collection of three fragrances designed to represent the stages of a werewolf's transformation. The set is available for pre-order now.
The fragrances capture distinct olfactory profiles. "The Wode Hath Teth" evokes the feral woodland with notes of cold bark, frozen soil, and smoke. "Werwulf" represents the transformation itself, featuring scents of skin, damp earth, root, resin, and wet fur. Finally, "Blodwode" aims to capture the aftermath, with aromas of bleeding tree bark, leather, musk, and the "heat of flesh that was once human."
The limited-edition set is priced at $55 and is scheduled to begin shipping on November 6. Individual perfumes can also be purchased for $125 each. This is not Heretic Parfum's first foray into movie-themed fragrances; the company previously released "Nosferatu Eau de Macabre" and a scent for The Bride, and is known for its collaboration with Gwyneth Paltrow on the "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle.
Werwulf is set to be released in theaters around Christmas.
