Oni Press is commemorating 15 years of Adventure Time comics with the launch of the Adventure Time Deluxe Comics Library, a substantial six-volume collection that compiles all comic content released by BOOM! Studios and Oni Press since 2012. The collection is now available via a Kickstarter campaign.
As part of the campaign's launch, IGN has debuted a preview of Adventure Time #26, featuring work by Ryan North and Jim Rugg. The library includes contributions from a wide array of creators, including Chelsea Akpan, Austin Baechle, Corinth Boone, Box Brown, Kenzie Bugg, Kevin Cannon, Jorge Corona, Delilah S. Dawson, Marie Enger, John P Golden, Christopher Hastings, Brenda Hickey, Mike Holmes, Beck Kubrick, Joey McCormick, Ian McGinty, Jorge Monlongo, Agustin Morales, Shelli Paroline & Braden Lamb, Marguerite Sauvage, Asia Simone, Zachary Sterling, Mariko Tamaki, and Nick Winn, among others.
The Kickstarter offers various tiers, allowing backers to purchase individual volumes or the complete six-book set. Exclusive, limited edition bundles named the Land of Ooo boxset and the Land of BMO boxset are also available. Oni Press Director of Business Development Sam Kusek stated that these slipcase editions are exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign and will not be offered in mass quantities elsewhere. Kusek highlighted the campaign as a celebration of the franchise's comic adventures, promising something for every fan.
In related Adventure Time news, Cartoon Network Studios recently released the trailer and poster for Adventure Time: Side Quests Season 2. The new season is set to stream on Disney+ and Hulu on October 2. The first two episodes of the season premiered at IGN Live in June.
