Amazon Prime members can claim 10 PC games for free throughout October, with titles redeemable via codes for storefronts such as the Epic Games Store and GOG. This offering is separate from the games available to stream through Amazon Luna, the company's cloud gaming service.
The October lineup of claimable games is highlighted by id Software's 2016 reboot of Doom. Other titles include Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, Conarium, WarBreeds, Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong, Caravan SandWitch, Ad Infinitum, Time Travel: Escape Room Game, Trash Goblin, and Kiborg.
Unlike services like PlayStation Plus, where games are only accessible while a subscription is active, these Amazon Prime games are owned outright by the user and remain available even after a Prime membership ends. The original Doom games and Doom Eternal are also still available to claim for a limited time.
In addition to the claimable games, Amazon Luna has added Sonic X Shadow Generations to its Luna Standard library. This package includes a remastered version of Sonic Generations, featuring both 2D and 3D levels, alongside a new Shadow the Hedgehog adventure. Space Metal Mania, an arcade shooter, has also joined the Luna Standard lineup. Amazon Prime members can access these streaming titles and claim the free PC games through the Amazon Luna portal.
