AMC Theaters is set to broadcast the 2026 Rocket League World Championship Finals at 50 locations across the United States. The event will be shown live on Sunday, September 20, allowing fans to watch the competition on the big screen.

The finals will originate from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, where 20 teams will compete for a share of a $1.2 million prize pool, with $300,000 reserved for the champions. The broadcast is expected to last approximately eight hours.

Tickets for the screenings are now available at participating AMC theaters. Adult tickets are priced at $19.49, with an additional fee of $2.69 for online bookings. Given the limited number of participating theaters and high demand, tickets are selling quickly.

In addition to the live viewing experience, AMC Theaters is offering attendees commemorative Rocket League tickets. These tickets will include codes that fans can redeem for in-game drops, similar to those earned by watching the tournament on platforms like Twitch.

Ellen Copaken, SVP of Business Development for AMC Theatres, stated that the company is excited to provide fans with the opportunity to watch a major esports event on a large screen alongside fellow enthusiasts, highlighting the communal aspect of movie theaters. This initiative marks AMC's effort to bring people together for shared experiences, extending beyond traditional film screenings.

This is not the first time esports events have been showcased in cinemas. Previous large-scale esports tournaments, including the League of Legends Worlds Finals and the Valorant Champions Paris Finals, have also been screened in select theaters internationally.
