The latest Aniimo update introduces the legendary Irisalis, the first of its rarity, through a limited-time seasonal event titled 'Walking with Irisalis.' This event, running until December 10, offers players the chance to acquire this powerful creature by collecting specific items, crafting a unique item, and defeating Irisalis in a challenging battle.
Irisalis is the legendary evolution of Iris and a Nova stage Aniimo. It operates as a DPS unit with a Grass Element typing. Its abilities include Irisalis Shadow, which summons clones, and Whirling Blossom Rain, where these clones unleash floral light beams. As a legendary Aniimo, Irisalis possesses the transmogrify ability, allowing its visual appearance to be altered using Radiant Dreamshadow.
To participate in the 'Walking with Irisalis' event, players must collect 99 Irisalis Petals to craft the legendary Aniipod. These petals can be obtained through various in-game activities. Permanent methods include completing main story objectives (12 petals), Journey Quests (10), Elite Pathfinder challenges (7), earning Silver Badges (14), completing Tracing the Trail event quests (5), Alpha First Clears (17), Branch Nurture (18), and completing Aniimo Topics (16). These permanent sources alone are sufficient to gather the required 99 petals.
During the event, additional avenues exist to expedite petal collection. Weekly rotations will offer new opportunities, including the purchase of Breezy Mission Letters gift boxes for 428 Glimmer each, with a limit of four purchases. Each box yields an Irisalis Flower, which grants five petals upon use, potentially adding up to 25 petals. The Stamp Shop also offers Irisalis Petals at a cost of 50 Windborn Stamps per petal, with a limit of four purchases.
Once 99 Irisalis Petals are gathered, players can craft the legendary Aniipod via the event tab in the menu. Crafting this special Aniipod is a one-time action, allowing for only a single capture of Irisalis. The crafted Aniipod also enables teleportation to a rift that leads directly to Irisalis.
Before attempting to catch Irisalis, players must defeat it in battle. As a Grass-type Aniimo, Irisalis is vulnerable to Dark, Fire, and Wind elements but resistant to Earth, Grass, and Water. A healer is recommended for the party, with Glacy, a water-type Aniimo, being a notable option for support. Upon defeating Irisalis, players will receive a prompt to catch it using the crafted legendary Aniipod, thus adding the game's first legendary Aniimo to their collection.
