Players have until this date to spend their in-game Cred currency, as it will expire and become unusable.
The new Raider Project tasks players with assisting Apollo in an experiment to track phantom arc signals, a mission that directly ties into the upcoming "Frozen Trails" expansion. This expansion will feature a new map located beyond the current playable area, where players can investigate the source of these signals.
Players can also find new community-made rubber duck cosmetics available for collection in Bird City. These include a confetti duck, a penguin-themed duck, and an X-ray duck.
The most critical element of this update is the impending retirement of the Cred currency. Embark Studios is replacing it with a more expansive reward system alongside the "Frozen Trails" update. All existing Raider Deck rewards will be integrated into this new system, and any rewards already claimed by players will be retained. Players are strongly advised to use any accumulated Cred before October 8 to avoid losing it upon expiration.
