Embark Studios has fully detailed the 'Frozen Trail' reward pass for its extraction shooter, Arc Raiders. This marks the game's first paid battle pass, offering a range of cosmetic items across free and premium tiers. Notably, all premium rewards are exclusively cosmetic, ensuring no pay-to-win elements.
Players can access the 'Frozen Trail' pass by navigating to the reward pass tab within the game. The legacy pass, featuring items from before the 'Frozen Trail' update, is also available. Activating the free tier is a simple click, while the premium track requires 1,150 Raider Tokens, equivalent to $9.99. For existing players, Raider Tokens are obtainable in-game, and completing the pass allows players to earn back the tokens spent on it.
Progression through the pass is achieved by completing daily challenges, known as feats, which grant reward points. The pass features 60 tiers of rewards, including various cosmetic outfits, weapon skins, backpack attachments, emotes, and utility items.
Key rewards in the free tier include a grappling hook blueprint at tier 12, three stencil parts at tiers 11, 23, and 47, and the ultimate prize, an Emperor gateway conduit, at tier 60. The premium track offers a more extensive array of cosmetic customization options.
Notable premium rewards include the Caposta outfit and accessories at tier 1, the Steamwright backpack at tier 3, and the Conductor hat (Scrappy) at tier 5. Further down the track, players can unlock the Carriga outfit and accessories at tier 13, the Hearthkeeper backpack at tier 15, and the Deadwire outfit at tier 25. The Ice Giant outfit arrives at tier 37, followed by the Banshee outfit at tier 49. In addition to cosmetic items, the premium tier also grants Raider Tokens at various intervals, such as 200 tokens at tier 4 and 16, and 300 tokens at tier 55.
The pass also includes various weapon skins and color variations for outfits, alongside unique backpack charms like the Train whistle backpack attachment at tier 3 and the Cowbell backpack charm at tier 15. Utility items such as a tether launcher are available at tier 24, and a powered descender at tier 52.
Players can expect a variety of furniture items for their quarters, including a bar table at tier 32 and a warehouse desk at tier 38. Other notable items include different face styles, hairstyles, and raider tools like the Welded pickaxe at tier 29 and the Glacier smasher at tier 43.
