Arknights: Endfield is set to receive its fourth major update, "Homecoming," on Wednesday, July 15th. This patch will introduce new story content and explorable areas, alongside two new playable characters, additional events, and combat trials. The game's servers will be unavailable for a six-hour maintenance period.

Maintenance is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 15, at 6 p.m. EDT. For players on the west coast of North America, this translates to 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. PDT. In Brazil, maintenance will run from 7 p.m. BRT on July 15 to 1 a.m. BRT on July 16. United Kingdom players will experience downtime from 11 p.m. BST on July 15 to 5 a.m. BST on July 16, while western Europe will see maintenance from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. CEST on July 16. Players in Japan can expect maintenance from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. JST on July 16, and those in eastern Australia will have maintenance from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. AEST on July 16.

Players are advised to complete any ongoing events or activities before the maintenance begins, as new events, gacha banners, and battle pass tracks will become available after the update. The "Homecoming" update brings Arcane, a caster character who utilizes floating weaponry, whose banner will be available in the first half of the patch. Following her will be Liino, a supporter character, whose banner is set to launch on August 9.

Beyond new characters, the update includes several quality-of-life enhancements. Players will gain the ability to transmute high-tier materials into lower-tier ones, find additional methods for crafting gear, and experience changes to how decorative items are stored. The Artificial Intelligence Core (AIC) also receives updates, featuring the introduction of gas mechanics and an extended conduit distance for its operations.
