Players of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced are finding the game's Legendary Ships to be a formidable challenge, with a recent Ubisoft statistics release showing a success rate of only 47% for these encounters. This indicates that more than half of all player attempts to sink the powerful boss vessels have ended in defeat.
Ubisoft's data, collected over the game's first month of availability, suggests that many players may have been tackling these endgame naval battles before their ship, the Jackdaw, was fully upgraded. Legendary Ships are intentionally designed as difficult content, not intended to be easily overcome.
Beyond the struggles with Legendary Ships, player statistics reveal other interesting trends. In total, players have spent 8.07 million hours in a manual crouching stance, a feature not present in the original game, accounting for 10% of the total playtime. Over the past month, players have collectively sailed 40.07 million in-game kilometers, a distance equivalent to 1,000 laps around the Earth or 52 journeys to the Moon.
The data also highlights player preferences within the game, with the Le Bourgeyoys Blades cutlass currently being the most favored weapon. The Privateer costume is the most popular outfit choice among players. Furthermore, a notable 28.29 million animals have been petted, with cats being the most frequently interacted-with creature.
Ubisoft recently deployed a patch for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, though information regarding a previously confirmed New Game Plus mode remains pending.
