Aston Martin has collaborated with Infinity Ward to create a bespoke tactical SUV named Dreadnought for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. This marks the luxury car manufacturer's debut in video game vehicle design.
The Dreadnought will be available at launch and can be found in specific locations within Modern Warfare 4's DMZ mode, an extraction shooter experience, as well as in the game's battle royale component. Activision described the vehicle as "uncompromising" and "deliberately extreme," noting its "dramatic" V12 engine roar.
According to Activision, the Dreadnought combines supercar performance with advanced armor and combat intelligence systems. Its design features an optimized aerodynamic profile and integrated digital command interfaces. Inside, the vehicle showcases Aston Martin's luxury heritage with details such as an Oxford Tan leather dashboard and door panels, and a metallic gold gear lever. These premium elements are contrasted with military-grade armor plating, a feature rarely seen in a traditional Aston Martin.
The name "Dreadnought" is a historical reference to an early 20th-century British warship. Marek Reichman, Aston Martin's Chief Creative Officer, stated that the Dreadnought is "unmistakably an Aston Martin — amplified without restraint." He highlighted the inclusion of details like the iconic Chiltern Green paint color and elements such as anodized Satin Gold door hinges, which he believes reflect Aston Martin's commitment to being a desirable ultra-luxury brand.
A full-scale model of the Dreadnought will be on display at the Call of Duty stand at Fanatics Fest in New York. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch on Friday, October 23, 2026, for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, PC via Battle.net, Xbox on PC, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2.
