The show's mystery-driven narrative explores the secrets of Avatar Pavi's past, the nature of the titular Seven Havens, and the cataclysm that reshaped the world. Fans can find further details and behind-the-scenes content on the official companion podcast, Avatar: Braving the Elements, hosted by Janet Varney and Dante Basco.
A New Swashbuckling Adventure
Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos will be a new animated series produced by Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studios, with Konietzko serving as showrunner. Set centuries before the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender, the series will focus on the rebellious teenage Avatar Kuruk from the Northern Water Tribe. Accompanied by his spirit companion, Nikik, Kuruk will contend with his teachers, spirits, and pirates as he travels the world. Kuruk was previously referenced in Avatar: The Last Airbender, notably by the spirit Koh, who stole the face of Kuruk's fiancée. This new series is expected to delve deeper into these past conflicts and Kuruk's globe-trotting adventures.
