Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday will feature at least two distinct costumes, with a newly revealed action figure from Hot Toys providing a detailed look at his secondary attire. This alternate suit presents a departure from the more traditional, imposing armor, leaning instead towards formal wear.

The figure, from Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles, showcases a design with a muted green cloak and a smoother, less aggressive mask compared to Doom's primary battle armor. The suit itself appears less functional armor and more akin to regal attire, covering any underlying metallic components. This refined aesthetic matches the outfit Downey's character was seen wearing during his initial appearance in the post-credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Speculation suggests this formal costume will be worn by Doom in the earlier stages of Avengers: Doomsday, before his true intentions and power are fully revealed. While Sideshow Collectibles has not yet opened preorders for this Victor von Doom figure, based on their standard Doctor Doom figure, it is expected to be priced around $285 and is slated for release in late 2027.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 18. In anticipation, fans can experience Avengers: Endgame Encore, which is set to be the longest MCU movie to date, and Marvel has also offered teasers for Doomsday by releasing a LEGO recreation of the trailer.
