Battlefield Studios has released a hotfix, version 1.3.2.1, for Battlefield 6 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, aiming to resolve critical issues introduced with the Season 3 mid-season update. This client-side patch prioritizes fixing a widespread bug that caused the deploy screen cursor to become erratic, hindering players' ability to select spawn points.
Another significant problem addressed in this update prevented players from installing or uninstalling game content packages, such as single-player or multiplayer components, directly from within the game. Previously, such attempts would result in players being directed to a blank black screen, a frustration now remedied by the hotfix.
Despite these fixes, the studio acknowledges that a number of other issues continue to affect the game. Battlefield Studios had previously outlined a shortlist of the most pressing problems receiving immediate attention. While some of these have been resolved by the latest patch, several others are still under active investigation. These remaining glitches range from lighting errors in specific areas, like within Redsec, to malfunctioning gadgets and broken game modes, which the development team hopes to correct in upcoming updates.
