A patch for Beast of Reincarnation is scheduled for release next week, according to co-developer Game Freak. The update aims to resolve several technical issues plaguing the game since its launch this week, including problematic text size and camera placement.

Players have reported difficulties reading the game's small text, a problem the upcoming patch intends to rectify by increasing the font size. Additionally, the game's camera, often criticized for being too close to the protagonist Emma and hindering combat, will be adjusted. The default graphical mode will also be switched from 'Cinematic' to 'Performance' mode in an effort to improve the overall visual experience.

Beyond technical fixes, the patch will also address the pacing of the game's narrative, with "story pacing improvements" listed as a priority. These adjustments seek to enhance the player's engagement with Beast of Reincarnation's story, which some reviews have noted is hampered by mundane performances and wearisome dialogue.

Beast of Reincarnation was developed by Game Freak and Fictions and is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also included in the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscription services.

In a review, GameSpot's Jake Dekker described Beast of Reincarnation as an ambitious title that struggles with polish, impacting its combat, story, and environments despite strong art direction.
