A BioWare fan has expressed their dissatisfaction with Electronic Arts by constructing a graveyard display outside the company's offices, featuring tombstones for various studios acquired and subsequently closed by EA. This act of protest comes in the wake of BioWare's own closure, a decision that caused significant backlash within the gaming community.

The fan's display commemorates studios such as Bullfrog, Pandemic, Visceral, Westwood, Origin, and Maxis, among others, that have been shut down or heavily restructured under EA's ownership. Each tombstone reportedly includes the studio's logo, its founding and closure dates, a poignant quote, and the "RIP" inscription.

The tombstone dedicated to BioWare features a quote from Mordin Solus in Mass Effect 3: "It had to be Me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong." The creator noted that they ran out of time to create markers for every affected studio. The display also serves as a memorial for beloved game franchises associated with these developers, including Destroy All Humans!, Star Wars: Battlefront, Dungeon Keeper, Ultima, and SimCity.

This fan-built graveyard is one of several public expressions of discontent directed at EA. In Madrid, a message reading "Save Mass Effect" was spray-painted near an EA office, while in New York City, fans purchased a billboard in Times Square with a similar plea. Despite these fan actions and petitions, EA has remained silent on the matter. The company reportedly views the Star Wars franchise as a more reliable source for sci-fi action games, making a reversal of its decision regarding BioWare unlikely. Nevertheless, the collective fan response highlights a strong community commitment to preserving beloved game studios and IPs.
