The final season for Black Ops 7 and Warzone, Season 6, is set to launch on September 17, bringing with it four new weapons, a Halloween-themed event called The Haunting, and a crossover with the Doom franchise. Players will be able to unlock these new additions for free through various in-game challenges and battle pass progression.
New Season 6 Weapons
Season 6 introduces the TR51 Para assault rifle, the VMP submachine gun, a new melee weapon called the Arcblade, and the ROC 20mm special weapon. If players miss the initial unlock window for any of these weapons, they will be added to the Armory section of the Black Ops 7 and Warzone menus, allowing for unlock challenges to be completed later.
The VMP submachine gun, returning from Black Ops 4, is a full-auto weapon known for its fast handling and high fire rate. It can be unlocked as a High-Value Target (HVT) reward on page three of the Season 6 battle pass. The weapon features 35 levels, four magazine options with a 40-round capacity, and can be equipped with various attachments, including a unique prestige attachment, the Rear Grip - MFS Tactical Command Grip, designed to enhance mobility and recoil control.
The TR51 Para assault rifle is a semi-automatic rifle described as having high damage and good range control. Its prestige attachment, the 18.5" MFS Fallen Angel Barrel, can convert it into a slow, fully automatic rifle. This weapon is available as an HVT reward on page six of the Season 6 battle pass and includes 41 levels, three magazine options with a 25-round capacity, and numerous attachment slots.
For close-quarters combat, the Arcblade melee weapon offers high damage, fast attack speed, and moderate range. This weapon will be unlockable for free during the Season 6 Camo Costume Party event through specific challenges across multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. The Arcblade has 30 levels and does not feature a prestige attachment.
The ROC 20mm is a secondary weapon in the special category, functioning as a semi-automatic cannon with a 20mm round that delivers significant damage at the cost of heavy recoil. It can also be configured for full-auto fire. This weapon is a free reward obtainable during the Doom limited-time event starting September 24. Its prestige attachment, the MFS Warhead Autoloader, enables full-auto fire with explosive rounds, improving handling at the expense of accuracy.
The Haunting and Doom Crossover
Beyond the new weapons, Season 6 is themed around Call of Duty's annual The Haunting event. This includes a new battle pass featuring Halloween-themed operator skins and weapon blueprints. Additional maps and modes will be added to multiplayer and Zombies, and Warzone will receive a spooky nighttime variant of the Haven's Hollow Resurgence map. The season also features a crossover with Doom, introducing operator skins for the Doom Slayer and various villains from the franchise.
