Developers behind the 2023 immersive sim Blood West are preparing to launch their next title, Bloodwoven. This new game is a survival immersive sim set in a unique world constructed on the remains of a colossal, frozen god. The premise immediately sets a distinct and ominous tone for the player's experience.

Players will find themselves in a world where the birth pods that provide new life have begun producing 'corrupted forms,' leading to the emergence of abominations that are neither human nor animal. This emergent threat adds another layer of challenge to the already difficult survival conditions. Players must contend with these new dangers alongside existing environmental threats.

The core gameplay loop of Bloodwoven centers on survival in a harsh, wintry climate. Players will need to manage their warmth, indicated by a chill meter, likely through establishing fires. Resource management is also critical, as maintaining adequate food and drink supplies will be essential for survival.

Exploration will take players through unsettling, alien, and fleshy environments. The game features a day and night cycle, with nighttime bringing forth more formidable eldritch monsters. The transition between day and night may also unlock new areas for exploration, adding a dynamic element to the game's world design.

Bloodwoven does not yet have a release date, but it is available to wishlist on Steam.
