Polygon's video series "Unraveled" is set to explore the intricate narratives of popular media, with its debut episode focusing on the notoriously complex lore of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Hosted by Brian David Gilbert, known for his deep dives into gaming stories, the series aims to provide clarity on convoluted plots.
The first installment, "Understanding Kingdom Hearts (and every other story)," will tackle the dense continuity of the long-running RPG series, which has spanned numerous titles across multiple platforms. Gilbert's stated goal is to not only demystify Kingdom Hearts but to apply his analytical approach to "every other story" as well, suggesting a broader scope for the series beyond just video games.
