Burger King is launching a limited-time "Dragon Ball Super" menu, featuring special food items and exclusive collectibles. The promotion aims to capture the energy of the anime multiverse for fans.
The new menu includes a "Dragon Ball Super Power Up Pack," which contains a 10-piece chicken nugget order with a "Super Saiyan sauce," a medium fry, and a "Dragon Ball Burst lemonade." The Super Saiyan sauce is described as a sweet, savory, and tangy teriyaki-style sauce. The lemonade is a mango peach flavor with boba pearls.
In addition to the food, the promotion will offer six collectible figurines. These include characters such as Goku, Super Saiyan God Goku, Vegeta, Super Saiyan God Vegeta, Piccolo, and Beerus. A "King Jr." option for the meal will also include a toy.
Akira Toriyama's "Dragon Ball" franchise is one of the best-selling manga and most popular anime series globally. The franchise has seen recent installments like the light-hearted spin-off "Dragon Ball Daima" and upcoming anime projects such as "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus" and "Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol." Beyond anime, a "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3" action RPG is also in development. This fast food crossover signifies a significant pop culture milestone for the series in the United States.
