Upcoming PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 releases of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 may not include all of the content found in their original iterations. Trophy lists for both titles have surfaced online, revealing several omissions when compared to the PlayStation 3 versions.

Notable exclusions include trophies associated with Theater Mode, a feature that allowed players to record and review gameplay footage. Additionally, trophies for League Play and Wager Matches have been removed. Wager Matches were a popular playlist in the original games, featuring unique game modes like Gun Game and One in the Chamber where players gambled in-game currency. While Gun Game and similar modes have appeared in later Call of Duty titles without the gambling aspect, the absence of related trophies suggests these specific functionalities might be absent from the remasters.

The removal of a trophy tied to Black Ops 2's League Play is also present, a change that may indicate a lack of focus on competitive multiplayer for these re-releases. While it remains possible that some of these modes are still included and simply lack associated trophies, the comprehensive nature of the remaining trophies makes exclusion more likely.

Activision has not yet provided a definitive release date for the Black Ops 1 and 2 remasters, though they are slated to launch on modern PlayStation consoles sometime in July. The publisher has confirmed that both games will feature campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies modes.
