The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 have become targets for a hacker known as "C Isn't Sharp," who is disrupting the experience for some players and rendering the game unplayable.

Reports indicate that this individual is entering lobbies and forcing players to "Prestige 16," an unofficial prestige level that exceeds the game's normal progression system. The hacker also modifies player classes and leaves a partial custom message, "You've," before booting players from the lobby. This exploits have been observed to reset player stats and can prevent matchmaking altogether, effectively blocking access to the game.

Some players have also reported that weapon camos and attachment progression have been corrupted following encounters with the hacker. The community has advised players to immediately close and restart their game applications if they encounter a player using the name "Who Isn't Sharp?" displayed in bright letters to mitigate potential account modifications.

Activision recently released ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 for PS4 and PS5 earlier in July, which were met with enthusiasm from fans. However, since their launch, both titles have been affected by exploits and modded lobbies. Players are hopeful that Activision and the port developer, Iron Galaxy, will address these ongoing issues.

Amidst these technical problems, the ports have also revealed cut content. A tower defense mode for Zombies was uncovered in the first Black Ops game, offering fans a glimpse into previously unseen game history without negatively impacting other players' experiences.
