The campaign for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is now available in early access, with the full release scheduled for October 23. Developed by Infinity Ward, this installment aims to conclude the narrative arc of the rebooted Modern Warfare series.
Modern Warfare 4's campaign is reportedly longer than those found in recent Call of Duty titles, taking approximately eight hours to complete on a normal difficulty setting. This is a notable increase from the typical 5-6 hour length of recent campaigns. Players opting for higher difficulties or pursuing achievements may require additional playtime. The campaign features 16 missions in total.
One notable mission, "Stranded," offers an open-world environment with optional exploration elements. Each of the 16 missions players complete will yield a reward, consisting of cosmetic items and Double XP tokens for use within Modern Warfare 4.
The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. A settings guide covering controller, graphics, and audio options is also available.
