Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 players have discovered an Easter egg on the multiplayer map Cachette, featuring a 3D printer akin to the one found in the game's DMZ extraction mode. This hidden feature allows players to obtain fully customized gun builds during multiplayer matches.
As noted on Reddit, the 3D printer is located upstairs within the Armory section of the Cachette map. At the start of each match, a weapon is available inside the printer, and any player can break the casing to retrieve it. These printers offer random weapon blueprints, with players reporting finds such as the Sang 9MM pistol, the PPSH-41 submachine gun, the Cronen Squall assault rifle, and the Mosin Nagant marksman rifle. The weapons provided are typically fully kitted, featuring five attachments.
While the printer dispenses random weapon builds, it serves as a playful nod to Modern Warfare 4's DMZ mode. This feature could also be beneficial for newer players who may have a limited selection of weapons and attachments unlocked.
Modern Warfare 4 was released on October 23. The game's initial downloadable content is a Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) pack, with proceeds supporting Activision's charity that assists military veterans in finding employment after their service.
