Charlie Cox, known for his role as Daredevil, has revealed that he has already recorded approximately 40 hours of dialogue for a new, unannounced Sega game. Cox made the confirmation during an appearance at New York Comic Con 2026.
This marks Cox's second foray into major gaming projects, following his award-winning performance as Gustave in Expedition 33. Speaking with IGN, the actor confirmed he is working on a significant role for an upcoming Sega title that required him to adopt an American accent without extensive preparation. "I had to do 40 hours or whatever it was, and I showed up for the first day, and I was like, ‘Hi guys, nice to meet you! How are you,’" Cox recounted. "And all of them went, ‘…oh, he’s English.’ They’d wanted him to be American. But now I’ve got to do 40 hours of lines I’ve not prepared in an accent."
Fans have begun speculating about the identity of the game, with many pointing to Persona 6 as a likely candidate. The extensive dialogue requirement and recent teases from Atlus for the popular JRPG series have fueled these theories. However, Cox also mentioned that the game "doesn’t have a name yet," suggesting it may be a completely new, yet-to-be-announced title.
Cox's previous role in Expedition 33 garnered significant critical acclaim, earning multiple awards for his performance. His involvement in another major gaming project signals continued opportunities in the industry for the actor.
