Crimson Desert's first expansion, Charting the Unknown, has been delayed by two weeks, Pearl Abyss announced. The expansion, which was originally slated for an October 15 release, is now scheduled to launch on October 29. The developer stated the delay is to "deliver a more polished and stable gameplay experience."
The Charting the Unknown expansion arrives approximately seven months after the base game's initial launch on March 19. This new content will introduce a new zone to the game world and bring sea exploration features. Additionally, the expansion will feature more robust base-building mechanics, with trailers suggesting players will be able to construct new buildings.
This first paid expansion will cost $24.99 and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, mirroring the platforms for the base game.
