Pearl Abyss's action RPG Crimson Desert has received a new update that significantly expands and refines its in-game trading system, adding a substantial number of new trading posts and goods for players to acquire and sell.

This latest patch introduces 133 new trading posts throughout the game world, including a new merchant at the Pailune Trading Post. Some of these posts become accessible only after completing specific quests. The update also adjusts the variety and quantities of goods available at trading posts, with a focus on increasing profits from posts that are more challenging to reach by wagon. A new mechanic has been implemented where trading excessive amounts of a single item will now affect its market price, encouraging a more dynamic approach to commerce.

To further incentivize trade, the update adds 24 new types of high-value goods and four new types of regular goods. Packaged goods can now be stacked in larger quantities, either 10 or 100 depending on their value. Players also have the option to sell individual trade goods for quick profit. For improved logistics, players can now transfer goods between their wagons and horses more easily.

Seven new wagon workshops have been added around Pywel, serving as intermediate trading posts. These workshops also now allow players to package and load trade goods. Quality-of-life improvements include the display of wagon routes on the minimap when a player is actively using a wagon, and the addition of a dedicated trade tab on the main map. Additionally, the maximum gain or loss from bank interest has been capped at 40 gold bars.
