WeirdCo has offered an exclusive reveal of two new cards for its forthcoming Cyberpunk Trading Card Game, featuring beloved characters Jackie Welles and Judy Alvarez. The game, which draws inspiration from the CD Projekt Red RPG and its associated anime, previously saw significant success on Kickstarter earlier this year. Both characters are presented in their base and "Iconic" versions, showcasing new Legend and Unit card types.
Jackie Welles - Mama's Favorite, a Green Leader card with a RAM value of 2 and an attack power of 8, boasts the "Go Solo" ability. This allows players to steal additional gigs when Jackie attacks, potentially surpassing the 10 power threshold. The card's true utility lies in its defensive capabilities, enabling players to spend 1 Eddy to have Jackie take a defeat instead of another unit, effectively removing him from the game to protect a more critical card.
Judy Alvarez - Nothing to Doubt is a Blue Unit card with a cost of 6 and 6 power. Its primary ability allows players to tap Judy and pay one Eddy to either play the top card of their deck or add it to their hand. This effect is particularly valuable for decks that feature high-cost, high-impact cards. However, Judy's playability is currently constrained by a 5-blue RAM requirement, as there are no known blue Legends that provide 3x Blue RAM. This suggests Judy may be best suited for mono-blue Cyberpunk decks. Due to her powerful ability, Judy is expected to be a primary target for opponents.
