Marvel Comics is concluding its series of one-shot specials celebrating the tenth anniversary of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" with "Star Wars: Rogue One - Darth Vader #1." The comic features the Dark Lord of the Sith as he confronts a planet refusing to mine kyber deposits.
The issue is written by Chris Condon and drawn by Luke Ross, with cover art by David Marquez, Phil Noto, and Walt Simonson. The story follows Director Orson Krennic's failed negotiations with the planet Harreld, whose leader, Harqque, objects to the Empire mining kyber for the Death Star's superlaser. Upon learning of Krennic's failure, Emperor Palpatine dispatches Darth Vader to secure the kyber by any means necessary.
"Star Wars: Rogue One - Darth Vader #1" is set to be released on October 28, 2026. Preorders are available through local comic shops and Amazon.
