Dataminers have reportedly uncovered evidence of five potential downloadable content characters within the files of the recently released Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. According to reports, the discovered heroes include Doctor Strange, Wasp, Gambit, The Thing, and Daredevil. These findings were shared by datamining group X0XLEAK, who noted that the characters are described as "possible prototype/future characters" and are "subject to change."
The PC version of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls experienced initial stuttering issues at launch, but developer Arc System Works quickly released a fix, which reportedly improved player sentiment. Some speculate that the game's robust anti-datamining measures may have contributed to the early technical problems.
This discovery has ignited discussions among players on social media. Many observe that, with the exception of Wasp, the other mentioned characters are already available in Marvel Rivals. The current roster of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls features a mix of well-known and lesser-known Marvel characters, including villains like Carnage, Doctor Doom, and Green Goblin, as well as the mutant Danger in her first playable video game appearance.
Information regarding future content for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls was also shared during a panel at San Diego Comic Con. It was announced that Phoenix Cyclops is scheduled to be the next character added to the game in Fall 2026, and he will be leading a team whose other members have yet to be revealed.
