David Tennant’s era as the Doctor is getting a cinematic celebration for the 20th anniversary of the terrifying two-part story "The Impossible Planet" and "The Satan Pit." BBC Studios, Fathom Entertainment, and CinemaLive are collaborating to bring Doctor Who: The Satan Pit Extended Cut to the big screen for a single night on November 23, coinciding with Doctor Who Day.
The event will showcase a new, movie-length cut of the episodes that originally aired in 2006. These installments saw the Tenth Doctor, portrayed by David Tennant, and companion Rose Tyler, played by Billie Piper, investigate a sanctuary base orbiting a black hole. Their exploration inadvertently awakens a formidable entity known as The Beast, challenging the Doctor's convictions and introducing the memorable Ood alien race.
This extended cut promises to offer fans an enhanced experience with the inclusion of deleted scenes previously only available on DVD, alongside newly unearthed extended footage. Adding further incentive for attendees, the screening will feature an exclusive interview with director and producer James Strong, who will reflect on the creation of these iconic, frightening episodes.

Tickets for Doctor Who: The Satan Pit Extended Cut will be available starting September 25 at 9 a.m. local time.
