The annual Day of the Devs indie game showcase has presented a broad spectrum of titles following this year's Summer Game Fest. The event featured both newly announced games and existing projects with updated details, including release dates.

Messhof, known for titles like Nidhogg, unveiled Blood Dungeon, a 2026 platformer described as a blend of Vampire Survivors and Spelunky with a focus on gravity mechanics. Also slated for 2026 is Dreadmoor, an adventure game from Dream Dock where players navigate a post-apocalyptic world, fishing for treasure. Happy Broccoli Games is set to release Apple Crumble, a mystery thriller inspired by Agatha Christie-style narratives, in 2026.

Survival horror gets a pixelated treatment in Tenebris Somnia from Saibot Studios and New Blood Interactive, featuring live-action sequences and a planned October 16 release. Meanwhile, Metanet Software Inc. is continuing its long-running N series with N Plus Infinity Times Two, aiming for a 2027 launch, which is described as a challenging platformer with Smash Bros.-inspired multiplayer elements.

Into the Unwell, a third-person roguelite with a distinct rubber hose animation style, is being published by Coffee Stain Publishing. For those seeking a more narrative-driven experience, Paperfrog's Bub, a 2027 game about artistic creation in New York City, features a layered paper cutout aesthetic. Ithaca, from The Pixel Hunt, is a late 2027 narrative RPG where players unravel mysteries while working as a rideshare driver.

Unique co-op gameplay is on display in Lazy River, a first-person shooter set in a space waterpark where player actions can spawn zombies, due out Summer 2027. Another multiplayer experience comes from Thunder Lotus with 33 Immortals, a co-op roguelike for up to 33 players, exiting Early Access on June 10.

Screenbound, developed by Crescent Moon Games and Radical Forge, is set to launch September 10. This title offers a unique blend of 2D and first-person 3D platforming, incorporating Zelda-inspired overhead adventure elements. Red Moon Workshop's Shot One Fighters, described as a rogue-like fighting game, is expected very soon, with player progression unlocking new abilities.

Further announcements include Mr. Records, a rhythm platformer from Wired Productions where players move through music, and Into the Fire, a title from Starward Industries focused on rescuing survivors amidst a world engulfed in flames. Slap Out of It, a comedy sandbox game from Turbo Button, is slated for 2027 and features interactions involving slapping characters and objects, with voice work by Ben Starr. Other titles showcased include Threads of Time, a throwback RPG inspired by Chrono Trigger, and Prove You're Human, a game where players must prove their humanity in a digital world to an AI. When Sirens Fall Silent, a psychological thriller set in 90s Italy from LKA, is also in development.
