Blizzard's acclaimed action RPG Diablo 4 is slated for a Nintendo Switch 2 release in mid-September, according to a fresh leak. The port is expected to be priced at $69.99 / £62.99 / €69.99, more than three years after the game's initial debut on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox in June 2023.

The leak, attributed to Dealabs user billbil-kun, indicates that alongside a digital release on the Nintendo eShop, a physical edition will also be available. However, this physical version will reportedly contain only a digital download code within its packaging, rather than a game card.

While a precise release date has not been confirmed, reports suggest the game will launch during the third week of September, potentially on September 15 or September 18. It remains unclear if the game's Lord of Hatred expansion will be included in this release. This news follows months of speculation about a potential Switch 2 port, which has previously appeared on various ratings boards.

Diablo 4 continues to maintain a dedicated player base and received its second major expansion in April. The game's "secret cow level" was also discovered in May, though some players expressed disappointment following extensive anticipation.

IGN previously reviewed Diablo 4, praising its "stunning sequel with near perfect endgame and progression design that makes it absolutely excruciating to put down," awarding it a 9/10 score.
