Beyond new dungeons, boss fights, and items, the season has brought forth a wealth of hidden content. A significant development is the long-awaited conclusion to the secret cow level hunt. Players can now access a more advanced version, culminating in a battle against Moophisto, the Divine Bovine. Similarly, Mefishto, a secret fishing boss previously teased, is now discoverable. Nostalgic players will also appreciate the return of popular runewords, such as Enigma, which grants classes a teleport ability, and iconic items from previous titles.
Exploration of the game world can lead players to Old Tristram, complete with familiar NPCs like Griswold, Wirt, and Adria, by collecting Deckard Cain's journals. Within this area, players can challenge an Uber Prime Evil boss encounter reminiscent of Diablo 2. For those seeking more lighthearted content, Diablo 3's Whimsyshire has been integrated into the game, accessible after progressing through the cow-level questline. Season 15 also advances the Lucky Coin questline, a puzzle that has eluded players since Diablo 4's initial release. The final lucky coins can now be acquired, and when converted into special jewelry and equipped, they unlock a portal to an Echo of the Horadrim boss fight. Following a less well-received Season 14, "Hell's Legacy" appears to have revitalized player engagement with its crowd-pleasing theme and substantial content drawn from earlier Diablo entries. While Diablo 4 will not receive further expansions as development shifts toward Diablo 5, slated for 2029, Blizzard has committed to supporting the game with ongoing seasonal content. The Amazon class is also slated for release as standalone DLC in the first half of next year.
