The final booster set of the year for Disney Lorcana, Hyperia City, is nearing its release, and two new cards are being exclusively revealed: Epic Héctor Rivera Street Magician and Enchanted Tiana Party Hostess. This set marks the first appearance of characters from Pixar's Coco in the card game, including Héctor Rivera.
Additionally, Hyperia City will feature a new Enchanted Tiana card, presented in a party dress, offering a fresh take on a character previously introduced to Lorcana. Both revealed cards focus on mechanics involving the discard pile, suggesting potential synergies for decks that manipulate or recur discarded cards. The Enchanted Tiana Party Hostess card, in particular, offers the possibility of playing costly location cards for free if they are discarded through her ability, hinting at potential new location cards in the set designed to complement her.
Disney Lorcana: Hyperia City is scheduled to launch on October 23, with prerelease events commencing on October 16 at local game stores. Previous sets and collections, such as Attack of the Vine and the Collection Starter Set - Stitch Edition, have offered insights into the game's evolving mechanics and accessibility for new players.
